What is the Flea Market?
The Flea Market is a place where you can open a stand to sell items, or search stands to find something to buy. It is vital to GiroPets's economy, and it is highly recommended that you take advantage of the features the Flea Market has to offer.
How do I open a Stand?
Go to the Flea Market, and you should see a building that says 'Build a Stand'. Go there to build your stand.
How do I place items in my Stand?
Go to your Inventory, and click on the item you want to put into your Stand. You should see an option on the side that says 'Put Into Stand'. Click on it, and it is put into your Stand.
How do I price items once I've placed them in my Stand?
Go to the Flea Market again, and this time, look for the link on top that says 'Manage Stand'. This will take you to the page where you can edit your Stand. From here, you can update the prices of your items by entering in a new price into the box below the item whose price you want to edit, and clicking 'Update'. Also, at the bottom, you will be able to see your Stand Till, Sales Log, Stand Statistics, and you will be able to edit your Stand Preferences.
How do I search for something in the Flea Market?
Near the 'Manage Stand' link at the top, above the map, you will see a link that says 'Search Stands'. Click that, and you will be taken to a page where you can choose to either search for an item or user stand, or view all stands. Click the search button, and then you will be taken to a form where you can enter in what you are looking for. The field 'Search For' is where you can enter in the name of the stand or item you are looking for. The field 'limit' is the number of results that will be displayed once the search is complete. The 'order by' field organizes the results in an ascending or descending order. Lastly, the 'type' field lets you choose whether you want the match to be exact (the entry in 'search for' must match all search results exactly) or to contain the entered phrase (so, for example, if you entered 'pencil' and chose 'containing', you would get all results for Red, Blue, and Yellow Pencils).
How do I close my Stand?
You cannot do this anymore. If you do not want people to buy items from your Stand, set the items' prices to 0 GP. This will display the items in your Stand, but they will not appear in search results and they cannot be bought.
Can I hold contests in my Stand?
It depends -- contests are allowed as long as it does not break the rules, or require users to send you items or GiroPoints.
