What is GiroPoints ?
GiroPoints is the money (currency) that you can make from playing games and selling things in User Stands (if you created one). You use GiroPoints to buy items for your pets, to spend, and for other things. Your GiroPoints amount is shown on the top of the page (under your username).
Is there a bank that I can deposit my GiroPoints into ?
You can deposit your points into your bank account for safe keeping. Every account has a bank account from when it was registered.
Can I collect interest from my GiroPoints deposited in the Bank ?
Yes, you can collect an interest. But remember that you can only collect it once a day if you have not made a transaction (meaning that you cannot when you have made a deposit or a withdraw).
Can anyone take GiroPoints from me ?
There are a few odd things that browse the site that tend to steal points from you. We cannot resolve this by giving you back your lost GiroPoints, so it's best to deposit what you have in the bank.
Can I earn GiroPoints ?
Of course you can.
I'm broke. How can I become out of debt to support my pets ?
You can try playing some of the games that are on the site that do not require anything to play and you can watch your amount rise up gradually. When you do have quite a bit, you can deposit your points in the bank and collect interest.

Someone hacked my account and stole all my GiroPoints ! HELP !!
Well, for one thing, before crying to us about it, you have to consider the fact that you have not been taking good care of your account. You probably chose a password that was too easy to guess and to break into. Also, you might have forgotten to logout of your account as someone (in your house or network) noticed that you were signed in. You absolutely must provide proof that someone stole GiroPoints from your account. Why ? We need to make sire that this really did happen and that you're not trying to cheat us for points.
Can I send GiroPoints to another user ?
You can write a check and send it to another member on GiroPets.

'GP' is an abbreviation for 'GiroPoints'.
How did GiroTopia decide to name their currency 'GiroPoints' ?
A high-council meeting was called a long time ago on what their currency should be named. A few were suggested, and most agreed on 'GiroPoints'.
